Max Frye is a 15-year-old metal guitarist based out of Raleigh, North Carolina.  Max tours as lead guitarist for the national Ozzy tribute band Little Ozzy.

Max's passion for guitar started the Summer of 2015 at the age of twelve. That night, Max was a casual observer at a local Open Mic at Rock Harbor Grill in Apex, NC. Watching guitarist after guitarist, Max knew that he wanted to play...and NOTHING could stop him! One month later, he had learned some blues songs well enough to get up and join the musicians.  He practiced constantly (about 6 hours a day). He started with easier blues riffs, then progressed to more complicated riffs until he could master his true love...metal. He joined the local band Ozzmosis in June 2017 and was picked up by Little Ozzy in early February 2018.

Max's major influences are Pantera, Randy Rhoads, Black Sabbath, The Doors, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Buckethead.

When Max isn't gigging with Little Ozzy, he spends his time writing music and practicing, practicing, practicing!  He also enjoys filling in with local band buddies such as Lexx Luthor and Up the Irons.

He has been traveling around the country doing what he loves and plans to make a career of it!  Don't ask him what his backup plan is...because HE DOESN'T HAVE ONE!!!
